high cholestrol

recently went for a check up as i wanted to buy a new insurance plan. And becoz of my previous high cholestrol level, I want to test it again. 3 years ago, the level was about 284. Now it is about 278. Still very high. Dun think it has much connection to my diet as I din really eat alot of high cholestrol food. Even though I like to eat eggs and seafood, but I did keep track and control my intake of these food. Guess most probably its due to family history as high cholestrol runs in my family.
