baby born on 17 august

I have given birth to my 2.725kg baby gal on 17th august at around 7.15pm
admitted into hospital that day at around 4.30pm. A short labour but very painful. Until now still very pain, have to lie on bed. Have been eating pain killer for the past 6 days.

Today is exactly one week since i given birth. But still in pain. cannot sit, so i did not post anything on blog. now i stand to type. after this have to go back to lie on bed. I think the wound will take another 1 week to recover.

will post the photo of baby gal after i get a bit better. As for her name, after consulting a feng shui master, all the previous names i thought of are not suitable becoz of the number of strokes. So most probably we will stick to what the master given us. That is yi2 ling2 ( one of the tcs actoress had the same name, except her surname is lai4, but my baby surname is ye4)

my baby gal still very happy inside my stomach....until now still dun wan to come out.....

i have already activated my maternity leave. Went to walk around singapore for the past 3 days. Very boring. Monday went for lunch with sandra and daxiong ( Mr lim) at lau pa sat. After that I went shop shop at Novena (united square), bought a baby sling. Tuesday went plaza sing to watch a movie, then shop shop. yesterday went toa payoh walk walk. eat at crystal jade for lunch, then went to buy a chocolate cake from awfully chocolate at upper thomson.

today i am going to see my gynae, hope that he will give me some good news.
Really tired of waiting.......these few days waiting for contractions, water bag burst etc, but no signs. Only got a bit of irregular stomach cramps...not very painful type......all false alarm.

I bought alot of chinese books yesterday. So that I can read during my confinement period. If not i will be bored to death.

my hubby's new job got some changes.Maybe he will not go china end of this month. The company offer him another position in singapore office. Have to see the prospects 1st. But any decision doesn't affect me really much coz I will remind in teaching if he stay in singapore. My current school is quite good and i quite happy there.

To all my sec 4E and 5N angels:

I know alot of u are not satisfied with ur mid yr o levels results. Many of you r going to re take. Dun be too disappointed. I know many of you are capable of getting a A2, but got b3 instead. The problem may lies in the oral as the allocation of oral marks is really really high. But there is no re taking for oral examinations if i am not wrong.

for those retaking, work on paper 1, just make sure ur essay is not out of point. And from my marking experience, official letter score better than personal letter. As for paper 2, work on the way u all answer questions. your answer need to be longer( not short and sweet kind) , but dun write unnessary info.

Most importantly, pay more attention to other subjects ok. chinese is only one of them, dun take it that its the end of the world if dun get distinction. End of the day, u still depend alot on yr other subjects. :)

I'm still waiting for my baby to come. She is still very comfortable inside, din want to come out yet.

The doc say as long dun exceed my estimated due date is ok. So I still have about 1 week to wait. But in the meantime, I have activated my maternity leave officially on next monday. Have a few days to go shop the whole singapore.

my next appointment with doc is Thursday. After that if baby still refuse to come out, will induce her. Really hope the next 1 or 2 days she will decide to come out herself. heard that induce birth will be more painful.

Ms Sng ( sandra)and Mr Lim ( teck siong ) are both back in Singapore already. I am thinking of meeting them b4 i go deliver, dun know if can make it on time....

not in time for national day

today my school had national day celebrations. activities end at ard 10am. tomolo and thursday will be holidays........but thinking of friday going back to school again very sianz........

I will be visiting my gynae again this friday. Most probably will induce birth next week. dun wan to wait until exactly 40th week.

tomolo is national day already. my baby is going to miss national day. not in time to come out.

yest i went for my gynae visit. Now baby is about 2.4kg.
Still no sign of her wanting to come out.
The doc say wait another week.

Might not be able to give birth naturally. coz of my height....too short.
But will try...if cannot then go for c section.

Next week is national day already...think i will overshot the date....most probably will miss the chance of having a national day baby......

My baby still not sign of coming out yet.
Yesterday my hubby's sis just given birth to a baby gal. Her estimated due date is later than mine, but she delivered so much earlier. And her baby is about 2.75kg. A good weight. But her labour is long, normally 2nd labour will be faster. But she took more than 12 hours.

I'm still waiting. really hope by next week can deliver.
maybe i should go eat some really good meals this weekend and maybe watch my last movie b4 delivered.

Tomolo i'm going for my gynae visit. Looking forward to it.

baby is not moving as much as she used to. Dun know is it becoz she is heavier. Will ask the doc tomolo.:)
