Seen alot of people commenting on their personal experience with pap MPs.
And most of them are lacking in sencerity. Maybe they think they belong to the "upper" class and don't think talking to people whom they think belong to the "lower" class is important. If so, don't bother to come and make your rounds then.

changes
my san san yesterday night sleep in the living room, but at around 1am, can hear her footsteps walking on the bumper mat in living room and into where her sister is sleeping. And she went inside the room and sleep together with leng leng. weird. maybe yesterday too hot. And funni part is, she brought a book in, the book belongs to leng leng. or maybe she thought its morning already and want to go and talk to leng leng, but fall asleep again in the room? Nevermind, now, she is sleeping together with leng leng again. she say she wants to sleep in the aircon room. but its a fact that these few days the weather is just too hot.
no wonder she also cannot take it.

high cost of living
the cost is really killing me.
Now every afternoon for lunch, eat outside.
A pack of rice with 1 meat and 2 veggies can be 4.20 from northpoint foodcourt.
And if I add in a drink that will be even higher.
And transportation fare killing me too.
Now everyday i need to travel....
Mrt and bus....., 80 bucks is not enough for a mth........
But of coz, if compare to my previous travelling to school to teach, its still very much cheaper, as I need to take cab in order to reach school on time.And need to take care back in order to fetch my kids on time. And there's peak hour charge. just a simple trip from woodland to yishun will cost me more than 10bucks....
hmm.....if i compare in that way, maybe I shouldn't grumble....
but.......other things are killing me too.
medical expenses, myself and kids....whether chinese doc or western doc.
per mth for medical is about 300 for me, and my 3 girls.
hand fractured, every review cost me about 40-70 with subsidy.
eye review cost about 30-50 with subsidy.
cost of PD is high. GP is cheaper, but they dun specialise in children's problems.
polyclinic is cheap...yes....but waiting time enough to kill me also.
I will not wait there with a cranky monster...I die faster that way.
chinese doc for my cough....about 50 per visit.
chinese doc for my girls flu and cough, about 30 plus per person, per visit.
If just a dengue case can cost me 5k for 4 days 3 nights stay in hospital. touch wood, if something more serious, I think I need to kill myself 1st. And if people are so sick until want to die already, you think still go go polyclinic to queue and make appointment for referal to hospital and wait wait wait. Waiting 10 seconds is enough to kill that person.
conclusion? I think I need more insurance........no...i think i need more money....no....i think I need some changes in the coming election.
yes....people up there can say burst budget nevermind. so eat into the reserve again. But people at the bottom dun have reserve to eat into, if every mth burst budget here and there, who's going to fill up figure? a cleaner may be earning 800 a mth or lesser. if burst budget by 3 times...that will be 2400. how is the person going to clear off the debts...no saving and reserve to eat into.

yesterday I went for a tuition. And the girl told me, her brother's chinese oral has improved. And her mother think it's because of my teaching. Felt so satisfied after hearing that. The boy in pri 6. Been tutoring him for 2 years already. This year will be the PSLE year. I don't believe in "intensive practise" just b4 exam, I believe skills especially for language needs to be build up slowly over time. Same for oral. If evey lesson I give him oral practise on 2 pictures, It is better than I give him 30 pictures just b4 his exam. So proven that this method works. Now he can say the picture very easily, like memorize from model answers...
The family going to move house, the mother quite worried that I will not continue with the tuition. But I told her no matter what, I will carry on until the boy finish his psle. As for the girl, this year she is sec 4, so in july, her tuition will stop already, as she "graduated" from the subject. sometimes I make my life difficult by taking assignments that are not suitable in days and timings, but I think if it benefits the students, and if its not very long, I can persist with it. And if i took a student in, I will not drop the student on my part. To me it is a responsibilty that I have to fufil. Of course if the inconvenience is more than 1 year, I need to rethink about it. So now I have a bit of problem rushing back home to fetch my girls by 7pm. And sometimes I just have to forgo the feeder bus and run 2 bus stops to reach home by 7pm. Or maybe take cab etc. But its good excercise for me too. Have not been doing any running since leaving school.

just in time
I have a tuition later. So I brought san san to childcare at 3pm. And she was in time for a birthday party of her classmate. She must be feeling happy, can eat cake and have goody bag to bring home.
This morning I brought her to KKH for hand review. And cast removed. But still cannot do too much physical stuffs and cannot over exert the hand. She always fell asleep on the way back. And I got a hard time carrying her. like carrying a packet of 10kg rice from novena back to yishun. Still have to pack lunch and wait for feeder bus to get home. dead tired. maybe this is how I manage to slim down even without much excercise.
As for leng leng, this morning I went to check on the white board that cut her leg. Luckily it wasn't rusty. very much relieved. But still need to moniter her just in case. Hope no infection or what. It was just another suay wednesday. all the whiteboards are ok except this one, with one of the "foot" rubber part came off. so she was cut by the sharp edge. I inform the principal of the centre to get the "foot" wrap up in case other children got injured too.
please do not let my wednesday become "疯狂星期三", I do not want to see frogs started flying or pigs flying.

another injury
Today my leng leng was injured.
Her classmate tok zhi xuan pushed her. and she fell against the whiteboard, got cut by the metal part of the board and injured her leg.
Today my hubby fetch her, as my weds tuition always end up late. I wonder if wednesdays are cursed. All the injury happened on weds. started from san san fell from playground, and after that another wednesday, she fell from chair. Then now another wednesday, my big girl cut her leg.And these weds, all the fetching done by hubby.
leng leng's cut was quite bad for her age. I guess must have been very painful. Quite a long cut and the area above the cut is also reddish from friction caused when falling against the board.
I sms the father of the boy, not that I wanted him to cane the boy, but more of solving problem. The boy must have some kind of behaviour management problem. He is quite a terror and bully in school. And always do negative things to gain attention. He seems to like my girl, but keep doing the wrong things. I really hope the father can have a way to tame that boy. I dun want to kick a big fuss, but I also dun wan to see more injury happened. And my girl's leg is making me heart pain. the feeling is worse than seeing san san's fractured hand. Why? becoz san san fell down herself. But leng leng is being bullied and push down by classmate. I start to fear for her safety in school.
The father of that boy is actually quite nice. he say will discipline the boy and say will pay for the medical bill. This is the 2nd time the father have to clear the mess created by his son. I hope there is no 3rd time.

没有否定过去，但是没有人能保证将来。
你怎么知道这些人的实力和你不相上下？
你又凭什么否定其他选择？
就因为一个“党名”？
只要是和这个党名挂钩的都是最好的吗？
何以见得？
千万别拿过去的种种来做证据，
因为那只是前辈们的贡献。
其实每一个不同的政党里头都有出色的人。
如果能不论政党，选出最优秀的，那该多好！
反正不都是为民服务，哪一个党重要吗？
重要的是品格吧！
所以不要总是用“少数服从多数”这样的理论来做事。
少数中也有很优秀的人。
人民也一样。可以不要总是让这些少数的边缘人徘徊吗？
在照顾多数的时候，是不是也能以更宽容和包容的心对待少数？
你自己可能在某个层面也曾经是“少数”，又或许你将来可能成为“少数”。
没有人永远都是“主要”的。
我不想看见国会里总是“少数服从多数”。
同一把声音，难唱出不同的调子。
多一点的竞争，多一点的进步。
多一些辩论，多一些收获。
政策不可能十全十美，
但可以不断改进让它更完美。
如果这一票没有给你，
请别说我忘恩负义。

removing cast tomorrow
tomorrow morning, will bring sansan to KKH for review. The cast will be removed. finally.......she is only concerned with whether she can go playground to play after that. And the answer is "NO". The doctor say no physical activities/excercises for 2 months after removal of cast. And give her an exemption letter. So she can only start playing end of June. That will be a difficult task for her. I dun think she can wait that long. She will probably to very cranky if she can only watch other children play.

I make a "sweet" for sansan and a "bee" for leng leng. can't find the picture for the "sweet", I just wrap the "egg" up with a piece of colour paper and tie ribbon at two ends, so become the shape of a sweet.
the bee was the one that got the prize and was done using my excess threads from making friendship pens last time.

easter day egg decoration
my girl childcare every year has this competition.
this year they gave all kids an egg to decorate.
Do together with parents. But of course my girls can't do much, I did most of the work. This year leng leng's submission won the 1st prize for her class K1.
The prize is $15 popular vouchers. Quite good. I told her I will help her buy books from there.

tuition
my tuition assignments are more stabilize now.
stress level definitely very much lower than teaching in school.
only stress with fetching kids as time is usually tight in the evening.
when I have lessons cancelled and a free day, I bring my mum and baby out. sometimes I shift lessons to take kids to see doctor etc. Other times the student change days and times due to school events etc.
Must have very good memory to note all the changes, so that I wun run a waste trip due to wrong day and timing.
Enjoying my life now.
flexibilty in work.
income is not fantastic, and very much lower with no bonus. But for sake of mental health, its still worthwhile.
And my other free time, I still spend to source for materials and plan my lessons. But marking is so much easiler. only a few pieces of work. But making sure the kids really learned and make good use of their parents' hard earned money is something I am more concerned with. Most of the kids are not interested in the language and their results are really bad. So have to take into consideration how to make the lessons more interesting, just like in school. And have to motivate them. All kind of ways. but this time round i have more freedom, not like in school, so much restrictions.
Hope my 3 sec 4 students will score well for their coming o levels. Have tried all means to help them with exam techniques. Please let them have all A1 or A2.

june june 10 mths
june june at 10 mths can clap hands. she has 1 tooth.
she can wave bye bye. but still cannot call names.
when she see people eating things, she will crawl over and wants to eat too.
she is very persistent. When she wants to do something, like crawling to somewhere, even if there are things blocking her, she will try to crawl over the thing.

morning visit to sentosa. spent half a day. dead tired. have to carry sansan most of the time, she really knows how to torture me.
