pre cny sickness

Kena cough again. Not a good time. Cny is coming, I think I will be coughing very badly then.

My san san has a runny nose. Seems to be having that all the time.
My big girl's stomach not very good since yesterday. She puked b4 bedtime, a massive one.Look very pale and sick. I brought her to see doctor just now. And raining cats and dogs. No car as hubby is still studying his masters today. wanted to get a cab, but phone a long time no cab. So have to take an umbrella, which is not much use in the rain. And took a bus to see PD. The clinic closed at 12pm today, so I just make it on time. My girl kena a bit of rain, I kena more. I think I'm going to be more sick.

郁闷

最近的事。
其实也没什么事。
只是觉得郁闷。
反正就是郁闷。
说不出的郁闷。
和不能说的郁闷。

bak kwa

Today I queue at about 10 something in the morning at lim chee guan shop. About 4 something then manage to buy.queue about 5.5 to 6 hours. This is my longest record liao. longer then the queuing up to see mickey mouse at tokyo disneyland.

Only for this year. No more in future. As i am not a bak kwa fan. Din buy for myself. all buy for people. Actually I dun like to eat bak kwa. But other people happy i also happy lah..........

many outings

have brought my mum and little june out for many outings. Since on leave this year, will make good use of my time. Brought them to orchard, Nex, IMM, Jurong East central, jurong point.........still many more to come.

Tomorrow I will be going to queue to buy bak kwa. 1st year I am buying that, as I have no interest in eating that. Just that I happened to be free this year, so can afford the time to go queue and help others to buy:)

whiskers

I have made 2 pillows for vera and elva, but blur me, forgot the whiskers. Now cannot sew on it liao....yucks.

rabbit year red packets

no interest in eating

my little yee june is 7 mths old. But she still show no interest in eating.

my best friend

Last friday when I went sent my girl to centre, I saw a piece if computer class work by her classmate tok zhi xuan. The boy who damaged her spectacles. And the title is " my best friend". And to my suprise, I saw my girl's name on the paper...haha....so he damage the spectacles becoz he want to get my girl's attention?haha...find it so funny.

spectacles matter

If only all parents are like that, then the future generation will have hope. The father of the boy is a very responsible person. He in fact took the spoilt spectacles and sent for repair. He left me his hp number. And he even sent the repaired spectacles to my house. And apologize for his son. But the repair is only for temporary as the side crack already. So he actually made a new one which can only collect on saturday. He say will leave it with the childcare centre and I can collect it from there. He even told me he already cane his boy for the mischief.

I think he has really taught his 3 children well. His older son in pri 1 is very polite also. And his youngest girl also very obedient. only the 2nd one a bit playful. I really thankful that I have met a very reasonable parent, who took full responsibily of the matter.

wanted to pay half the cost, but he rejected. Hopefully his son will not get into this kind of trouble again. And very grateful he took the trouble to actually source for similar spectacles.

spectacles spoilt

My big girl spectacles was damaged yesterday by her classmate. The boy pull the specs from her face, and it was broken. luckily her face was not injured. That was a quite expensive specs. cost me abt 200 bucks. not becoz its very branded, but becoz of the special lenses. her eye problem. the lenses got to make ultra thin, if not its going to be very heavy.

I will see if the specs is still repairable. Then probably the boy's parents got to pay for the repair cost. Not fair for them to pay the full cost of specs as I know kids are playful in general, so though the boy did it on purpose, but I think will still give him a 2nd chance. And its not a cheap specs. But if not repairable, then will get a cheaper frame, maybe they pay half of the cost. I think thats fair enough, the childcare actually wants them to pay the full cost.

Hope the damage is not too bad. I havent even got to see the damaged specs yet.

2 years have passed

Recently I tidy my room again. and clear off some stuffs that were more than 5 years. Some even about 10 years. Things from my practicum schools, some big big files of lesson plans etc. And stuffs from jwss, also many many files......
And I saw those few books again. Some secondary one newspapers cutting reflection book from year 2005. My sec 1 class. I have kept some of the very well done books. A very good class. And one of the book belongs to Alvina. Her very neat handwritting is still so neatly written in the book. pages and pages of the comments on newspaper articles.

I miss those few girls in class. All of them my red cross little angels. I kept those books back into the cupboard. Those were the precious memories I have with the class. They were so small then, now all grown up. But I guess I will still recognize them if meet on street.

2 years have passed since she left. I still feel sad when I think of her. These few days she keep appearing in my mind. Maybe its becoz after I read the book, after I read the facebook entries of her friends.

Really hope she is happy in another world.
