I was recovering from dengue. And my hubby entertain the girls for the few days when I was not feeling well.

have not seen my bb for 2 weeks. When I was not feeling well last week, she was also not good. She was having constipation for about 7 days din poo.

For my 3 kids. Only my big girl i manage to breastfeed for about 6 months. the 2nd one about 3 months. And my bb yee june. About 1 month only. I have stopped breastfeeding already. My stay in hospital due to dengue has only made me end breastfeeding faster.

I have invested in such a good breastpump this time round, but only used it for such a short time.

health is really the most impt. And I have decided to stop at 3. 3 girls are just right. after each delivery, felt my body become very weak. I just need to be healthy and spent good times with my girls, watch them grow up.

dengue

I was feeling very sick since last friday. And despite having bed rest for the national day long weekend, I did not get well. Very severe headache which was not controllable by pain killers. Seen 4 doctors and finally on wednesday morning, I went to see doctor and get referred to hospital. The neuro dept in Tan Tock Seng hosptal supposed to be better, so I went ttsh. Was feeling super not well. Thought maybe I was going to die??

The A and E dept was quite effifcient. And within hours, I was admitted and sent for alot of test. Done a CT scan, and MRI also on same day. Blood test. X ray. But even on 2nd day of admission, the blood test still din pick up dengue, so I was sent to do a spinal liquid extraction. I still can sense my back feeling a little uncomfortble until now.Hope I dun get permanent damage for this test.

It was only on friday evening the blood test eventually pick up dengue. And since positive for dengue, the doctors are all relieved. Have been on drip and anti bioics the 1st day I admitted. after the positive in dengue, the drip and anti biotics all removed.

And I was allowed to go home on saturday, which was yesterday. currently still feeling tired, but on the way to full recovery.

I am down with flu. try to endure for the past 3 days. But today cannot take it liao, go see doc. hopefully the medicine is ok for breastfeeding.very tired.

goat farm

My big girl went goat farm on monday. The childcare centre excursion trip. The 1st thing she came back say was "羊羊也是有pump pump". becoz she saw the milking of goat. And she associate with my milk expression session for baby.

cane

yesterday I cane my big girl for the 1st time. I always use cane to threaten her, but yesterday use it for the 1st time.

She played with the diaper cream for the 2nd time. The 1st time I warn her already. But she never learn. She put the cream on her leg, one whole thick thick layer. And is not washable using normal soap and water. And she ask ah san to play with it too. Was so angry. Cane her on her leg. for the 1st time raise my voice so loud that I can't believe it. And I am carrying my baby when I scold my big girl. Already very irritated by the so many things I need to do, and she still irritate me with all her nonsense. Need to feed my baby and need to wash her leg and need to pacify ah sam who is shocked by all the things.

after canning her, send her to bed early and she obediently sleep by herself. And yesterday night, she got nitemare a few times. Hopefully she learned her mistake and stop all the nonsense.

My bb can rotate herself 90 degree. Less than 1 mth old.

 
 
 

still 44kg

din manage to lose anymore weight. Now is stagnant at 44 kg.
Hopefully can lose 1kg per mth, then by the time I go back work, should be more or less back to previous weight.

This year end, may go for chinese lit marking. Dun know yet. think they put my name for the marking. Dun mind doing the marking. But I think will have problem finding a place to do pumping and storage of breastmilk. Or maybe by then I already stop expressing.Now the supply is between 70 to 100 ml every 3.5-4 hours. when I go back work, will slowly stretch to maybe 5hours pump, then no need to pump so many times a day.

wind in stomach

my confinement lady teach me how to deal with the wind in bb tummy. She say if the bb cry and its not feeding time and no soiled diaper, then probably its wind in tummy. So feel her forehead, if its cold and tummy got hollow sound, then its stomach got wind. put ru yi oil and do massage on tummy for bb. Then she will fart and will be more comfortable.

My confinement lady is leaving this coming saturday noon. She is really good with bb and I have very good rest during confinement.
