开学恐惧症

我想我是患上了开学恐惧症。休息太久了，就不想回校了。像早上赖床一样，真的提不起精神来。
原来不是只有小魔头不喜欢上学，其实还有很多人不喜欢上学，包括自己在内。
想太多。想到工作。工作会不会太多？薪金会不会太少？可以工作少，薪金多吗？做梦！
那么就工作少，薪金少。其实我并不是很在意薪金少。我希望自己不会太忙，希望不会太累，希望有更多时间陪小魔头和小小魔头。。。。。。

my baby girl can flip over!

my baby girl can flip over. She did that for the 1st time yesterday. But both me and my mum did not see that. When we look at her, she already flipped over.She is very much faster than my 1st girl. My 1st girl flip over at 4months plus.

where did I went?

I have not been posting recently. Alot of reasons. Busy Busy and more busy.
Tired looking after my baby as she is not a good sleeper at night. But now very very much better. And my elder girl went childcare since 1st July. I was very stressed in that 1st week as she was crying everyday in childcare centre. And she had nightmare everynight for that week. When I see and hear that, my heart ache. Thought of alot of other options other than send her to childcare.

I dun like the idea of employing a maid, so that is out. Thought of taking no pay leave to look after her for maybe another 6months. But she still have to go to childcare centre after that. She is 23months old, seems to be the youngest in the childcare centre. Now is the 3rd week already. This morning I went her down to the centre, she was crying also. And at 10am when I look down from my flat, I can see her at the playground, she is still not playing with the kids. Just holding the hand of a teacher and walking round and round the playground. And when she cannot see the teacher, she start to cry. But there is improvement already, at least today she did not suck her pacifer at the playground and did not carry her sleeping pillow with her. I will be starting work next Monday. I hope by then she will love school....hmm.....is there any kid who love school??

And I went for a Japan tour in end of June. To Hokkaido. wanted to see the nice nice lavender fields, but its not the blooming session of lavender, they dun look as good. End of July will be the best to go and view lavender......if go in August, can see nice sunflowers.

And I just came back from a Malacca trip yesterday. went sat early morning and came back yesterday night. I think my girl is enjoying all the trips. She seems to be able to adpat to the trips well, but how come not adpating so well to childcare?

finally...some good sleep for me

have not been posting recently as i wasn't in good state. ever since my confinement lady left and i shift back to my mum house, i have not been sleeping well. My baby don't sleep at nite and i din sleep for like 1 week for the 1st week. only nap like an hour or so in the day as i still have to entertain my big gal. I think I have aged alot just after one week. but now the problem is more or less solve. my baby gal is a difficult one, but she wins as she got herself the luxury of sleeping in a yaolan. i have to give in, bought an electric one, and she enjoy sleeping inside, i can get some good sleep finally. And she also got herself a pacifer, but just a pacifer or juz the yaolan is not good enough, she wants both. so have to suck pacifer and put her inside the yaolan, and hold the pacifer for her until she sleep, then she can sleep longer.

And I over exert myself when i carry my big gal. end up the area above my c -sec wound start to swell immediately after that. that was what happened last week. Now the swelling has gone down. should be ok i think. Will be going down to see my gynae for the last time this thursday, will ask him about the wound. I still feels a bit of pain when i press area around the wound.

the weather is so hot, i decide to install in my mum house, cannot tahan liao. sweating so badly everyday. Have to get the aircon done by July, then evryone gets to enjoy it.

confnement ending soon..........

my confinement will officially end next thursday( labour day), my confinement lady will go back Malaysia. She has been a great help to me and takes care of me and my baby very well.

My c-sec wound is almost painless liao, juz a bit uncomfortable, I think in another one or two weeks, I should be able to be as mobile as b4, juz that cannot carry too heavy things. I cannot carried my 1st girl as she is now 9kg plus. 2 weeks ago, try to catch her down from bed and end up injured my left hand. Now my hand got no strength.

On 1 May, after sending off my confinement lady, I will shift myself and baby back to Jurong. Have to try to let the 2 girls live together and have to start potty train my 1st girl. She will be going to child care in July, hope by then she will be potty trained.

I hope my 1st girl will be able to accept "meimei", worried that she might be jealous.

finally..... the name for my baby

finally we have decided on the name for baby. We have very few options, as the names given by the fortune master all not nice. So in the end, we find another word with the same number of strokes to replace the 3rd word in the name.

So my girl will be call 叶 怡 杉. my 1st girl is call 叶 怡 伶. So the 2nd word in the name is the same. We wanted both girls to be happy, so we want to keep the word 怡.

confinement

I'm doing my confinement now. Still not able to walk like normal after c-section. Can still feel a bit of pain when changing position like getting up from bed, getting up from sitting etc. I think i'm those kind that is very scare of small and prolong pain. until now i still dun dare to look at my wound.

My baby arrived on 1st April 2008. weighing 2.84kg. seems like its a right choice to go for c-section. This baby is bigger than my 1st girl.

c section on 1st April

today I went for my gynae visit. baby now about 2.6kg.
Will be going for c section next tuesday, which is 1st April.
will be having the operation at 1.30pm. That means I cannot eat my breakfast or drink anything after 7.30am. Think I will be very hungry after that.
Have decided on epidural c section. That means my hubby can be present during the operation.

I think I'm going to fall sick. these few days, my throat a bit weird. seems like going to lose my voice. Maybe caught the flu bug. Not a good time to fall sick.

updates again

My girl has been sick since last thursday. She had a fever for few days. After that she got cough and runny nose, now she is recovering from it. I think its the influenza season, thats why she kena, even though she did not go out the few days before she fall sick.

She missed last weekend swimming class as she had fever. Other than that, my hubby also sick last friday onwards. He went China for work on last monday nite and came back on Friday morning, and was sick. He also got fever and few days ago, he accidentedly bite his own tongue, so now his tongue swollen, cannot eat. Seems like very suay....

I juz went to see my gynae this morning. Now my bb girl is about 2.4 to 2.5kg at week 36plus, coming 37weeks. If this week she decide to come out naturally, i would still try a natural delivery. My next appointment with gynae is next Tuesday. By then i have to decide on the date for c sec. It will be on one of these days 1 april to 4 april. But 1 April is April's fool day leh....like very weird...and 4th April is Qingming jie.....also not very nice...so left with 2nd April and 3rd April...hmm.......

Will go consult my regular fengshui master this sunday. Have to consult her for a name for my bb also.

still got alot of small things to do.....have not contact my confinement lady yet...hope she wun fly me aeroplane. the house still a bit messy, still got to tidy up a bit. Still got some things havent wash yet.........alot of trivial things to do.......

lastest gynae check up

Just went for check up yesterday. BB now is about 2.1 to 2.2kg at week 34.
This time round i will probably go for c-sec, as i will not be able to deliver bb more than 2.5kg. I dun wan to take the risk again in case bb got stuck again. May not be so lucky everytime.

looking forward to my maternity leave....now counting down.......earliest i think will be week 37. need to see the date for schedule c sec.

getting more and more heavy. have put on about 10kg so far....at most will hit 12kg i think. hope this time round, i take shorter time to slim down.

injection

Today I took child sick leave to bring my ger for her 18th mth injection and doctor consultation. She is in a bad mood as she did not have enough sleep, and have to wake up early to go polyclinic for injection. My ger is only 8.4kg........seems like the weight taken last time is wrong. I always thought she is 9kg already.sighz......she eat so much but is so underweight.

Today I signed up for cordblood banking for my 2nd ger. thought about it for my 1st ger last time, but until delivery still din make effort to sign up, so i din bank my 1st ger cordblood. For 2nd child, got the CDA account, so can use for cordblood payment.

Next week my ger will go for swimming class for both saturday and sunday as one of the lesson is a make up lesson for the previous lesson she missed. She enjoyed her swimming classes alot. She gets very excited and will shout out loud.

Yesterday we bring her to a free photo studio trial session, and got 2 free photos.will upload the 2 photos later:)

my lastest gynae visit

went for my gynae visit yesterday. my hubby is on half day leave as well. So we bring our girl along. my girl is very talkative...even the staff at the clinic were amazed by how well she can talk. She is very sociable, now she like to say bye bye to everybody, including those who ignore her. She will go to my neighbour door and say bye bye to the pple inside, even though she dun know who they are.

my 2nd bb is due in early April. She is like my 1st girl, daytime sleep, nite time very active. yesterday nite she did boxing for a long time, and i can't have a good sleep. her hands and legs keep making shapes out from my stomach. She is now 1.4kg at 30 weeks. Her size is also around the same as my 1st girl.

recently took alot of photos of my 1st girl, but din put on blog, wait till I have more time, then will slowly upload.

Now quite busy with sch stuffs. Just finish the chinese new year concert stuffs, still have to set exam papers, mark compo etc. Have alot of things that need to be settle b4 I go for my maternity leave. Will activate my maternity leave on 31 march.

lastest update

yesterday i went for my gynae visit and baby is now 1kg at 28 week.
About the same size as my 1st girl. My 1st one was also 1kg at week 28.
This time round i manage to cut down my weight increase. At 28 weeks, i put on 8kg. The 1st pregnancy, I put on 11kg at week 28. Hopefully this time round i will be able to take a shorter time to slim down.

My next appointment will be 2 weeks later. That will be week 30. And my glucose and blood test result will be ready by then. hopefully i will not get diabetic.

a big scare

I had a big scare last thursday. Was halfway teaching my chinese lit lesson in the afternoon when i suddenly felt like vomitting and dirhearra. Tried to finish the lesson in a hurry and went to toilet. Puke all my lunch out and also diheorra at the same time. After that felt my stomach very tight.
Thought i was going to give birth liao. But only 27weeks.Too prematured. Call my gynae clinic, but gynae was overseas for a conference. I told the nurse i got stomach cramp, need to see doc. She help me to arrange for the relief gynae covering my gynae.
I sat at the bus stop waiting for her to reply me and seems like stomach cramp not getting better. was so scare that I was going to give birth liao, and i phone the clinic staff again. finally manage to get the relief doc, and i took a cab to A and E of mount A.
The nurses there were very nice and friendly. was given a wheel chair and push to the delivery suite. stayed there to monitor whether got contraction. rested for 30 minutes, actually felt better already.
when the gynae came, he said most probably i ate the wrong food...something to do with stomach flu whether. No regular contraction. I was so relieved.
Was given one day MC. But din used it as i have alot of work to do in sch the next day. Lucky it not real contraction, if not really dun know what to do. baby too premature to survive at week 27.

tomolo I will be going for my regular gynae appointment at Mount E. Have not seen my bby thro' scan for 1 month already. After tonite dinner, have to fast until tomolo morn 8plus after i take my glucose test. will be doing blood test as well. So tomolo will be on MC.

gynae visit

This morning I went mount E for my gynae visit. Baby is now 600g at week 24.
Have signed up for the gynae package. 3 times more expensive than my previous gynae, but i decide to go for a try. For this pregnancy, likely to spent a few more thousand in cash as compared to my 1st girl. next appoinment will be on 22nd Jan.

school going to start soon, I have alot of lesson preparation to do, but din really have mood to do. Wanted to wait for tomolo staff meeting, see the classes i will be teaching and my time table and my duties for next year. Hopefully i will be offload.
