犯贱

人都有这样的毛病。
离开后总想着回去。

才刚进入放假的第三个星期，
一颗叫"犯贱"的种子开始萌芽。

突然想念我的学生。
虽然没有我，他们的日子照旧。
应该只是我自己单方面的想念吧?
我的4E3和2E5，你们有听话吗?

想念和自己并肩作战的同袍。
(你们还"活"着吗?)

人不能"闲"太久。太久就会被引诱"犯罪"。
但想起那些繁琐的事，就会马上打消这样的念头。
想到我的学生天使般的容颜突然都变成了魔鬼的脸，
想到堆积如山的作业，怎么改都改不完。
想到主任的话:作文批改要有眉批、总评、针对训练目标给评语......(下删50字)
[难道我这几年的作文都白改了?]
想到很多不知所谓的政策，毫无意义的琐事。
不想做又不能不做的事，让我非常痛苦。
想到那些飞过来又挡不了的明枪暗箭，
何必把整个教育界搞得乌烟瘴气?
为了五斗米折腰，算了吧。

为什么要把自己搞得惨兮兮的?
这么辛苦，病倒了，人家也只是说:你最好快点好起来，不然学生看见你这个样子......(下删30字)
"这个样子"又怎样?生病又不是我愿意的。你喜欢就让你病。
我又不是林黛玉，不可能病得像个美女。
生病的样子本来就不好，可能你可以病得很美，听说你有个"白雪公主"的绰号。
如果你真是这样还过得去，可惜你连bimbo都不是。EQ和IQ都那么低，
真不明白谁让你在这个圈子里混这么久。

算了，还是停笔吧。
再写下去就真的是犯贱。

猜心

做母亲的必须学会的一件事。
孩子不会说、不想说、不知道怎么说的时候，
你都要知道他们想说的究竟是什么。

这几个晚上，大魔头在夜里总是睡不好，
一直发出"哼 哼 哼"的声音，
有时候会像是在发自己脾气，气得踢脚。
总是翻来覆去睡不好。

夜里的对话总是这样:

我:宝贝，什么事情?
魔头:哼......
我:什么事情?跟妈妈讲什么事情......
魔头:哼.......
我:要奶奶?(nei nei)
魔头:......
我:是不是痒痒?(常被蚊子叮，总是吵着要搽油)
魔头:哼......
我:肚子痛?
魔头:哼......

[重复同样的问题3次]

最后，

我:什么事情?跟妈妈讲什么事情......
魔头:哼.......
我:要奶奶?(nei nei)
魔头:(点头)

有时候真的没有耐性和她进行这么久的一问一答。
对她大吼一声后，她有时会乖乖趴着继续睡觉，
有时候就放声大哭，一副很委屈的样子。

最近因为不用上班，所以让她睡到自然醒。
但是她自然醒的时间已经从早上8点变成9点。
很多时候若我9点不叫醒她，她便继续睡下去。
这种睡觉的基因可能会遗传吧?
她老爸也有这种被睡虫缠身的问题。

本着一颗慈母心，想让她有更充足的睡眠，
谁知道好像害了她。晚上有失眠的迹象。
有时候在房里走来走去，唱歌，学学校老师的对话等
一两个钟头还无法入睡。有时候她会拿抱枕遮盖眼睛。
学校老师说她中午也睡不着。
看来我要让她更有规律的生活了。
就从睡觉开始吧。早上8点一定要起身。
就算我不用上班也该如此。
不然"慈母多败儿"这句话真要应验在我身上了。

I downloaded some videos from handphone to computer. One of them is a short clip of my big girl trying to teach my small girl how to read the cards. But she is not a very good teacher because my small girl is not paying attention and most serious thing is she teach the wrong things...haha....she anyhow pick one card and anyhow associate one word with the card.

Look at my face! I am smiling but I still have a drop of tear on my cheek.
My girl was "reading" the ikea catalogue, we want to go elsewhere already. And she refused to move. We pretend to walk away. She got angry and cry loud loud. She was angry because we did not wait for her to finish flipping all the pages in the catalouge.

Happy Birthday!

Today is the actual birthday of my small girl. She was born on last year April fool's day.

Though she is so much unmanageable than my big girl, I am very thankful that she is healthy. There is nothing more important than health. I hope she will gorw up to be a happy girl.

Yesterday we went Ikea for dinner. My big girl enjoy the place so much. We are going again tonight.

walking yet?

My small girl still do not want to walk on her own. She is still holding onto things to walk. quite slow progress. Initially I still thought she will be able to start walking faster than my big girl.

Today I cook these for dinner. 糖醋排骨and 姜葱田鸡 and porriage.

And as usual, I overcook the food. haha..But the taste is alright.
I am quite satisfied with the result.

Easter day

My big girl bring back one plastic egg and a letter fro parents. We are supposed to decorate the egg togther with her and submit back to school. In conjuction with Easter Day. They have a competition kind of thing.

I dun want to do the thing for her coz it will not be her work. So I think of something whereby she can do. So I let her paste stickers on the eggs. I have some left over star stickers which I use to use it for my Tech class students. And this is the result. Actually look quite nice. And this morning we submit to the childcare centre already.

my messy room

I bring back all my books, files etc from school and put them in one of my room. Have not tidy up the room yet. Dun know I need how many days to sort out all the things and put them in proper order.

including or excluding?

Even though I am on no pay leave, I still try to help with the finalizing of the exam papers. But I am quite pissed off by her again. She can't seems to make up her mind even on little things and I wasted so much time. Her sample cover pg got so much problem that I have to email her to ask what she wants.
1. footer so long until "clash" with page number.[can you believe it? i have never seen this kind of footer]
2. she wants total number of pages use "excluding" cover page. But all along, we have been using "including". The best part is she "confidently send me email and say use "excluding" despite the fact that I prompt her already. So I being very efficient, amend the cover page and all the page number. Then the next day, she send another email and say "stick back to "including". [ she seems to think I very free, and I spent another 1hour to change from "excluding" back to "including"]

still have other small details. no need to elaborate.

I had enough. went to school today and return my laptop. Now I really dun have to work. Trying to be a nice person, end up doing ridiculous no value add work. waste time only. spent a few nite just to change here change there. The only thing constant about her is change.

Hooray...now no laptop, no need to work, even if I want to help also cannot. I really need to "force" myself to stop working. Totally ignore what happen in school, if not I will be itchy fingers, try to kpoy.

And my edumail is being removed by MOE. I think becoz I am on leave for more than 6 months.

I will need pple to inform me when is the open posting. I want to look for a school, can be in the west or north also can. But I still want to be on part time teaching scheme. I dun mind teaching, but I dun like admin work. If I cannot find a school, then I will let MOE post me anywhere...haha......I dun really mind. I should be able to survive anywhere as long as the HOD is reasonable.

outing time

Today I brought my small girl to JP, together with my mum. We had lunch at the japanese food street. And ate la mian.

I signed up for driving course at bukit batok driving centre already. But will only start practical sessions mid May. As April slots were almost all booked by people already. The fastest I will be able to take the test will be in July.

My girl was still ok when we went out this morning. But just now my mum phone me and say small girl is having a fever. Lucky I am on leave now, if not I will be worrying so much at work. I will maybe make a trip down to Jurong again tomolo. If fever still not down, will take her to see PD direct.

dessert

yesterday I only manage to wash 1 fan as I spent the rest of my time making a fruit sago. bought mangoes, rock melons and apples. This is the result.

today's tasks

I have just finished making a dress for my big girl. Dun look very nice but 1st attempt I think its consider ok. The yellow color side is actually the front. I find the fabric very transparent, so i use another cloth to act as the 2nd layer inside. But seems that the effect is the 2nd cloth become nicer than the 1st cloth..haha...anyway i think the dress can be dress 2 ways. Inside and outside both can wear. Then can have 2 different look also....

I am going to causeway point later to buy a good baby carrier so that I can carry my small girl with lesser backache. Though I already have a good one, but heard that this brand is even better. So I am buying. should be a worthwhile investment. I want to start using it tomolo, so that she can get use to it and when we go tour yr end, she will like it.

The last task for today will be to wash the fans. I have about 4 fans to wash. Then I will fetch my big girl from childcare and go over to my in law house for dinner.

And my last last task for tonite will be to finalize my exam papers and send to my HOD.

Tomorrow I will be going over to Jurong side to play with my small girl.

the wonders of sewing machine

Last time I use to sew using my mum's old manual type of sewing machine. The pattern and style of the sewing is the normal usual type like this "-------". But now with electronic sewing machine, alot of pattern can be created. And they look very nice. I used it on pillow cases and on the edges of fabric. They look good.

Yesterday was my 1st day of no pay leave. what did I do?

I actually wanted to do more things. But I ended up not able to do so. I only manage to do the following.

1.sweep floor
2.mop floor
3.buy grocery
4.wash my girl's ABC mat
5.make "curtain" for door [ my girl will have bad cough if on aircon with closed door, but if dun on aircon, she will be hot and sweat and bitten by bed bugs. We used to open the door and let the aircon goes out, but kind of waste aircon, so use this "curtain" thing to act as door]

She now can hold on to things to walk.
