my new baby carrier-pikkolo

My new baby carrier arrived on friday from US. Bought online from oversea site. Only one shop in Singapore selling and price is $230. Bought online for USD129. After conversion, its about $194 Sin dollars. Shipping is free as combined orders. Ordered together with 2 of my ex collegues from AI.

Initially I wanted to buy an ergo carrier, but review on Pikkolo carrier is better. So I changed my mind last minute. And its a good investment. I tried out the back carrying and seems quite comfortable. Can carry my girl on my back like carrying a haversack. And can also carry my girl in front, facing me and facing outside. Can carry by side also. 4 different ways of carrying. My baby Bjorn can only carry in front with baby facing me or facing outside. And as my girl gets bigger, I find my back aching after carrying too long.

But this new pikkolo carrier put the weight of baby on my waist, so I dun feel too heavy. And my girl seems quite comfortable with it as she can move her hands quite freely. Good buy.

eat and eat

Today we went to boat quay area. eat some light stuffs at Liang Court.
Now we try to go somewhere every weekends. My small girl is bigger now, so can try try bring her outside more, see if she will be less cranky.
Both my girls love to eat.

dogs

Went to ASD adoption drive on Saturday morning. Not to adopt a dog, but to bring my girls to see the dogs.
Many Many years ago, I went with the ASD group to Noak Ark in Malaysia to see the dogs. And there are so many of them there, in the open area. Some of them are so big that even me as a dog lover is afraid of them.
went to Northpoint for lunch. Thai food. But there are many non spicy choices that my girls can eat.

a story

Ms R is getting married soon and I am feeling little uneasy about it. Why? becoz I am a little suspicious of the guy she is going to marry. Juz dun know why I find him not a very sincere person, or maybe I should say seems to be hiding things. Got a kind of "zhi2 jue2" that tells me that he got a "2nd life" other than the one we are seeing now. But i have no proof. Its just an instinct that made me felt that way. I am quite worried about her. But I cannot say anything becoz I have no proof and I dun know the person well enough.

I hope my instinct is wrong this time. Becoz I hope she can marry well. But if my instinct is right, and years later something not good happened, I will regret not telling her how I felt now. But even if I say now, will it make any difference?

I kind of missed my 4E3 class. And 'O' levels Chinese papers is coming soon.
Made some bookmarks for the class. Everyone of them. And personalized also with their names chinese and english. Hope I get the names all correct.
Very simple bookmarks as I need to find a budget way of making.
And self make envelope that is big enough to put all of them inside. Will find one day to pass to someone in class to give to the rest.

I have passed my advance theory test. And started my 1st practical lesson today.

The coming few weeks I will be quite busy with driving lessons, tuitions, knitting lessons...........

And I will need to go for a hair cut, my hair is getting very messy, like wild grass.......

busy monday

my mondays now are always busy. Have 2 tuition slots. So will be home quite late, around 8 something. tomolo I will be even more busy, as I have my advance theory test in the morning. Then follow by 2 tuition slots.

today my big girl trip and fell. Her head hit the cupboard and another bump on her forehead. This time more serious than the previous time. Now she got a long red line that runs from her forehead to the corner of her right eye. Think that will take another 5 days or more for the line to slowly disappear. She is quite accident prone. Actually I am also. Or maybe I should say I was. I used to fall down quite often.

Hope I will pass my advance theory tomolo.

meet up with daxiong

yesterday I had lunch with daxiong at JP bakerzin. Had a long chat with him. have not seen him for years.(other than the time at his wedding)

Glad that he is happier than 3 years ago. His 1st baby will be arriving in August.

When I talk to daxiong, its like talking to my brother. Maybe becoz of build and height, I find him very alike to my brother.

Hope that things will be well for him.

Tomolo I will be meeting 2 of my AISS friends for lunch. Now its exam period, so they will be a little more free. But when papers come in for marking, they will be busy again. So its a good time for some gathering now.

And next week my driving lessons will start. I will be a little more busy also.

To prevent the books and toys from collecting more dust. I make this. It was raining that day, too lazy and troublesome to go out and buy cloth. So I use what I have left with and joined them together to form a bigger piece.

yesterday I met up with Serene. went robinsons closed door sale. bought some things. My girl was very cranky yesterday when coming back. Yell all the way in MRT from city hall to Jurong east. all the pple inside cannot tahan. heard some comments that why we bring her out, we should have keep her at home. I think by keeping her at home wun solve the problem, wanted to let her get use to surroundings and learn to cooperate with us.

I think my endurance level is going higher and higher. Have to learn to bear with all the yelling. Just doesn't know why she behave in this way and she is coming 13mth liao. The PD will only say maybe she is not comfortable. Maybe change milk powder etc. But all the scientific ways dun seems to help. She has been like that since the 1st month. And we know its not colic because until now she is still like that. sighz........

Maybe I should use the character given by the fengshui master last time. I din used the words given by her, I choose own words for her name. Perhaps the words are still too strong for her as her personality already very "strong". We are considering changing her name if things still dun improve next few months.

Doing handicrafts is one of my interest. During the Kuantan trip, I have made 3 keys and 5 fridge magnets. Using felt and cross stitch threads.Are they nice?

Sunday morning b4 the program of that day started.
Saturday nite, after the dinner, my girl went up the empty stage and do some funni dance.
my girl found some play mates during saturday dinner. But my girl was very rough, not at all lady like. The gentle and sweet looking girl in the picture is not willing to let my girl hold her hands.

kuantan trip

I am back from Kuantan trip. Very tiring to bring a kid along. too long journey and bumpy road. My girl puke on Saturday evening, before we reach the hotel. We didn't manage to play most part of the treasure hunt as we are mislead by the GPS and gone long long way to dun know where. Only manage to find one place, which is the pandan waterfall. After that we tried to make our way to hotel and that was when my girl puke in her car seat. And till now, the car seat stink...

I think next time cannot bring kids along if really want to take part in the challenge actively.
