can 3 years old do this?

Last Sunday my big girl more or less recovered from her illness. So can go childcare on Monday. That evening, she suddenly complain of right leg, the area behind her knee is painful and start crying. And she "volunteer" to go see doctor. She was at my in law house eating dinner when she complain of the pain. And we hurrily eat our dinner and grab her to go see doctor. Sunday is a bad day to see doctor, not many clinic open on sunday nite. We had to go home and take our things. When we reach home, put her down, she is quite happy, without any signs of pain, and busy playing again. I am actually quite suspicious of her leg pain, as she will say he leg pain when she dun wan to walk and ask me to carry her. Was wondering if the knee pain was another strategy of hers. Me and hubby tried to trick her into telling the "truth". But she always can pinpoint the same area where she say its pain. We were hoping she will forget which leg and say the wrong leg. But she was very consistent.

2 hrs later, she complain of the same pain. And it happened very sudden. She was crying so badly and we quickly bring her to a 24 hr clinic in Bishan. But on the way, she was not in pain. And when we reached there, she played happily at the playground without any signs of pain. And she walk normally. Can jump can run. We waited for some time b4 go in the clinic. The lady say we should go KK instead of coming here. Going KK will probably end up waiting for hours. And my hubby need to go airport to catch his plane at 4am. We decided not to go that nite. But wait and see how things go. I can bring her to KK if neccessary the next day.

We decide to go back home. But my girl refuse to go home. She still wanted to play. And she wants to go "gai gai". We put her in the car seat. And she complain of the leg pain again. This make us very suspicious of the leg pain issue.

Anyway we went home, and she was cranky all the way becoz she dun wan to go home but want to play. We reached home quite late. And my hubby was the most tired as he barely had enough sleep for a few days already.

Now 3 days have passed, her leg pain issue is not valid already. I was wondering, was that one of her strategic planning to aviod going to school?Or to give herself an opportunity of going out of the house?Or to get more of our attention? or ?
