Worst idea ever

How can one come up with the idea of a national defence tax. If PR and foreigners can dont need to do NS just by paying, then singaporean can also do the same. The only word they have in their mind is only money, and nothing else. What makes them think that we care about money? Its not about money, its about these people having easy way out and not intergrating into our society. How can we give them a choice of to intergrate or not. You come here, you try to intergrate ok, doing NS is a great way of giving them intergrating opportunity. If you dont want, it just show that you are not sincere in wanting to settle down here. This idiotic idea only further confirm the top people really dont understand what is going on at the ground level. Its not about money anymore. They are not suppose to come here and enjoy and have more privileges. By letting them exempted from doing national duty by paying an extra tax, means they have this special privilege. And what makes them more superior than singaporeans? And dont forget many of these people are very rich, they can pay and get away with it. If we start off with one, very soon there will be another, and eventually all things can use money to get away with. More and more no EQ fellows up there. Sometimes really cannot tahan. Why they are so used to saying wrong things, and never think before they say. Too arrogant and over confident.
