malaysia durian farm trip

Yesterday my hubby drove to Malaysia durian farm with his CRV group in a convey. About 18 cars. My father, my big girl went together with us. I dun really take durian,, not becoz I dun like, but becoz its very heaty. And nowadays alot of "unknown" things used in farming, so the durians may not be as good. But the durians in the farm seems ok, as there were alot of houseflies flying around the durain when its open. Those very "poisonous" durains, I heard that even insects will not go near. So this one seems ok.

Only ate a little, as I scare will be too heaty. So the durian buffet is not worthwhile. I prefer fruits farm, with a variety of fruits. Photos will come later.

meet up with sandra

Met up with Sandra on friday. Brought my big girl along. At IMM coffee club. Had tea there and a short chat. My girl ate a cake, her mood is quite alright that day. But on the way back, she was very sleepy and fell asleep on the bus. When I carry her down the bus, she was still sleeping and was quite annoyed.

Its good to meet up with friends and update on things in life. Have not seen Sandra for quite a long time. Hope things in her life will be smooth and most importantly she is happy.

what happened to my hair?

"Somebody cut my hair and now I look so ugly."
It has been 2 weeks since I cut my big girl's hair. And still the front part din grow at all. Look very ugly. I super no skill. She was looking at the floor when I cut, so I mis gauge and cut too much. When she look up, then I realised. But too bad, since already cut, all have to cut short short. Now have to wait for her hair to grow. Luckily she still din know how bad her hair was. Her sense of "beauty" is still constructed by us. When we say nice, she thought it is nice. The 1st day after the hair cut, I brought her to her childcare centre, and the teachers had a good laugh. They thought I really put a bowl on her head to cut......:P

saw another ex student at BBDC

This morning I went for driving lesson, saw another ex student. So coincidence, the other 2 I met not long ago were also from that same class. The ex student I saw today is Darius. I hope I din spell wrongly.
I think I got the name of the other ex student wrongly. Now I dun know whether its Kelvin or alvin. But his chinese name suddenly appear in my mind. should be zhenxiong.
So now I know 4 of my ex students from that same class is learning driving there. Good luck to them, hopefully they can pass with one try.

I dun really enjoy my driving lessons. I think I am not talented in driving. My reaction very slow and I got problem recognizing the routes. I think drive the same place 100 times, I also dun know where to change lane etc. Now I am basically dragging my feet to the centre to learn. Now already stage 2, if give up now very wasteful, maybe I wait a little longer and see how.

development of my small girl

my small girl is about 14.5 months old now. She can walk in a not steady manner and can call almost all the people she knows. As for words, she can say "yao", "bu yao", "you" , "gai gai" , "pong pong", "nair nair" (milk)and "NO". She learned the "NO" from her sister. My big girl always say "NO" to her whenever she takes my big girl's things. My small girl is very fierce. My big girl is usually scare of her. My big girl will come and "complain" to us that mei mei take her things. Sometimes my small girl will refuse to return back the things and they will start to snatch from each other. My small girl though strength not as strong, she will yell loudly and will push my big girl. sometimes she will hit my big girl's head or pull her hair.....She will pull my big girl's clothes as well. My big girl will say "mei mei hen xiong" (sister very fierce)

my mum phoned me just now, say my small girl has a fever. I am not as worried as I normally do. Becoz I know I can visit her tomolo. If I am working, I will not be able to focus on my work, I will be very worried. And I know there is fever medicine at my mum house from the PD.

The more kids I have, the more worries I will have. I already can sense the countless times I will need to worry in future over them. Now with 2 daughters, I will need to worry about their development and health, in future about their studies, about BGR, whether they made the right friends. When they getting marry, have to worry whether they married the right person, whether my future son-in-laws will treat them nice nice, whether they will have a happy life. Then have to worry when they pregnant and delivery and next have to worry for grandchildren.......Oh no......so many many things to worry about......

coincidence

Today I brought my mum and my auntie to Suntec City walk walk. Took train from JE with my mum to meet my auntie at Tiong Bahru. Then after met her, we took train for 4 stations to City Hall. Very Very coincidental, on the train someone give up the seat to my mum. My mum was calling me to sit, as I was carrying my small girl. Then I turn around and saw a very familiar face. And that was Wanjing. I have not seen her for about 4 years, but I remember her name very clearly. Other than Wanjing, there are 3 more of them, stephanie, veronica and another girl whom I have not taught b4, but she was in red cross. I din remember her name on the spot. Now I have a name in my mind, but I dun know whether it is correct or not. should be Joycelyn? or something like that. They were in sec 1 the year I left JWSS. Now they are all in JC/polys. And all grown up to be pretty young ladies.

I am very happy to see them and seeing them still so close to one another really warm my heart and of course their generousity in giving up their seats. My small girl was quite cranky that time. She wanted to sleep but she was not tired enough.

I actually had more things to ask them, about their current life, their school work, future work etc. But I din have time to do so. Wanjing still look quite sad to me. I wanted very much to give her a pat on the shoulder, but I didn't. The pain of losing a good friend, I know its still very deeply in their heart. When I saw them, I thought of Alvina, they were so close together but now so far apart. I hope no matter what happened, they can all live happily and live life to the fullest.

driving lessons

today I went for my driving lessons and on the way to BBDC, I saw Mabel.
I think quite a number of them are learning driving.
I saw Alvin last month or maybe 2 months ago, at the BBDC also.
After a short talk with Mabel, get to know that Junming is also learning driving.
Quite curious, how different is Junming now as compare to 4 years ago?

some construction at home

These few days my house toilet will be undergoing some small "renovation". Din do any when we shift in the house last time. The condition of the toilets not very good. And recently the tiles keep retaining water inside and breed mosquito. So have to do some minor renovation of toilet floor to put things in proper order. Change the toliet bowls also. Today is their 1st day of work. Saturday morning all will be complete.

So this week I have to stay at home to supervise the work and din get to see my small girl at all. miss her quite a bit. Saturday afternoon will go Jurong to fetch her back.

I actually have knitting lessons today. But becoz have to stay home to wait for the toilet thing to be done, have to miss one lesson. My knitting of baby booties has some progress already. By next week, after I go for another lesson, I should be able to finish making one. I intend to make many many, all different colours.

planning-4 kids?

after some considerations, me and my hubby decided that we should have 4 kids instead of 3. For some reasons. I am a paraniod mother, maybe I should have more kids so that I will not regret or next time when I want to have more kids and I am too old for it.

Initially I wanted to try for a "rabbit", but now that I want to have 4 kids and I want to stop by age 35, means I may need to have a "tiger" kid. So that I can stop by age 35. I hope to have 3 girls and 1 boy. And hope the 3rd one can be boy and 4th one be girl. I think that is the maximum number of children I can have. My 2nd girl is thro c-sec, so I can't have too many c-sec again.

I will still be on no pay leave until the moment I tested positive. Then I will need to go back to teaching. After my 3rd child, then I will take no pay leave again, maybe for 2 years. Maybe many pple will think I am "over ambitious", but I think its gd for the children to have more siblings so that they can have support for one another. And they can play more games together. 4 children can play monopoly and other board games by themselves, without me and my hubby participation. And can play mahjong also...haha.....maybe I am too idealistic. I am making an assumption that they will all be on very close terms with one another.

Maybe becoz I am very close with my brother so I have very positive experience. My brother dote on me when I was very young, esp. in my primary sch days. I have alot of good memories. If I have a sister, probably I will be even closer to her. But I only have a brother. I think a big family will be very good. and when come to celebration of events, will be very re4 nao4.

Am I thinking too much? I admire myself for being so "brave". 2 more times of pregnancy and 2 more times of child birth. And more sleepless nights and more cranky monsters. Am I going to go thro all these for another 2 times.
How I wish I can have twins. Then I only need to go thro 1 more time of pregnancy and 1 more time of child birth. And best is 1 boy 1 girl. Then fufil my quota and can close shop.

I am really thinking too much...........haha

meeting up with a friend

Today i met linlin for lunch. Have not seen her for about 1 year plus. We had a long chat. Alot of memories from the past came back. Those times in between year 1998-2001.I have not seen the others for many many years already. I missed those times when we went out together during NIE days. Those karaoke sessions, lunch session and the taiwan trip.Missed the teachers as well. But I don't know what to say if I visit them in NIE. Have not visit them for 4 years. Don't think they still remember me.
Maybe will bring my girl to NIE for walk next week, maybe can visit some lecturers.

Today I brought my mum and my small girl to the same place I brought my big girl last friday. Now I try to make it a point to bring my mum out to walk walk everytime I have time. My small girl enjoy playing with the bowl and cup so much that she forgot to be cranky....lucky me.

dinosaurs are my friends

my girl is not afraid of big dinosaurs. becoz she knows barney is a dinosaur. So all dinosaurs become barney's friends and become her friends.

singing queen

Yesterday when I sent my big girl to her childcare centre at about 9 plus in the morning, the teacher told me to send earlier next time. [ last time when I am working, I used to sent her down at 7am]

The reason being she couldn't sleep during her nap time which is at 1pm. The teachers got no way to make her sleep and she refuse to listen to instructions to keep quiet. She disturb other children who are sleeping by singing songs. She can sing for 1 hour without stopping. The situation is similar b4 her bed time at night. I will send her into her room at about 10plus. And she will start to sing in the room. Until like 1 hour later when we din hear anymore singing, means she fell alseep.

So the teachers want me to wake her up earlier in the morning, as sleeping too much will result in her not able to nap in the afternoon. And they have problem keeping her mouth shut...haha
