sneeze

I discover I can actually sneeze without feeling pain on wound. Now its just the area above the wound, when I press will feel pain. Maybe need another mth to recover.

hubby studying masters

Hubby took a masters course. every 3 months will have to study for about 2 weeks at NTU. So tomolo will start. these 2 weeks going to be very busy for him. 7 more days to end of my confinement. I will confine myself another 7 days after that. Until my hubby finish the 2 weeks of study. My mum will stay Yishun help me with the 3 monsters. After that then the 3rd monster will go over to Jurong and I look after the 2 monsters myself.

a flying mosquito move faster than me

These 2 weeks, almost everyday I was bitten by a mosquito. And I actually saw it flying around, but I was not fast enough, as I scare too big action will cause harm to my wound. So this is the only time I cannot even hit a flying mosquito. Sianz....Now even a mosquito come and bully me....:P

my girl dun wan to go yamaha

my big girl say she dun wan to go yamaha. the reason is incredible. Its becoz last saturday when my hubby bring her there alone( i was doing confinement , so din follow), its raining very heavily. So my hubby took another new route, trying to go through the flats and shelter. And he walked the wrong way. And the rain was so big, and the wind very big also. Even though my hubby carried her, she was still very scared of the wind sound. So she say she dun wan to go yamaha, she say 爸爸走错路.我不要走新的,要走旧的. She thought that becoz my hubby walk the wrong way, thats why got the wind blowing..hahaha

After telling her will take the old route to go yamaha, she agreed to go. Was thinking that if she really dun wan to go, we will not force her.The course she is taking now is not as interesting and fun as the previous one, partly also the reason why she not motivated to go.

red dots

the teacher at childcare centre say my big girl got red dots in her mouth and on her hands. Very scared it may be HFMD. I hope its not. I already not enough manpower to handle and manage the kids. Maybe she is just too heaty.

These few days, I find my c section wound not too good. seems a bit of swelling above the cut area. maybe I over exert myself. Hope next week all will be well.

15th day

today is the 15th day since I delivered my girl. Still feel pain at side of wound and area around the wound. Not the wound itself.

My san san yesterday evening fever recur again. Dun know why. But its quite mild fever. So medicine given again. Have to moniter and see how the next few days.

These few days very hot. Keep sweating. And my hair very messy and sticky. After confinement I want a hair cut. Maybe do a perm. like those very big curl perm at the end of hair. dun know how it will look like. Have to go to a good salon, if not later become auntie hair style.

aircon

today I on the aircon in my room for whole day. Coz yesterday my confinement lady told me there r rashes on bb body. And I think they r heat rash. early this morning, the rashes disappear. So I think maybe night time got aircon, so cooler. And today I will on the aircon for whole day. For the rest of the confinement period also. Actually I'm also very hot, and the fan also cannot blow my direction. So have been sweating for the past 14 days. Especially day time. Sweat even more. night time not too bad as got on aircon.

Sweating and not bathing for 14 days liao. Very jialat. I will need a bath this coming friday.

This morning also phone my mum to check on my san san's fever. And my mum say she got no fever already. But will give her another dose of paracetomol and moniter for the next 2 days. If everything ok, my big girl will go over to Jurong after her yamaha lesson on sat. And stay there until sunday nite, then come over to yishun together with san san an my mum.

San san din go to school for more than 2 weeks liao. When my mum ask her if she want to go to school, she say "no". She wan to stay at my mum house. Everything have to start all over again. Next monday when she go school, she sure cry. Just hope she wun fall sick again.

13th day

Today is the 13th day since I delivered. Still abit of pain at the sides of wound. Other than that, not much problem.

This morning i phone my mum to check on san san's status. She is ok. Hope fever will not come back again. Moniter for the next few days then decide whether she should be back.

I have been doing knitting for the past few days. My mum sweater have to put aside first as I am stuck, need to go back to knitting class and ask the teacher.
So I do bags for my girls. Yesterday just finished one. This morning was so tired that I nap a while. Later I am going to start a 2nd bag.

Planning to bathe this coming Friday. Feeling so hot and sticky. Last confinement, I bathe on the 11th day. This time I havent start bathing yet. This friday will be the 16th day.

recurring fever

My ah san had fever since 23th June. 2 days ago already no fever. Then yesterday afternoon fever came bk. Today also mild fever. Dun know why the fever recur. She done blood test that night when she was at thomson medical and after rport come out, she took the anti biotics which the doctor prescrible.

Anti biotics almost finish liao. But the fever recur. Almost 2 weeks already....what's wrong with her?

Making me very worried, I din see her for 2 weeks also. Miss her alot.
She supposed to be back Yishun together with my mum tonite. But now got to let her stay in Jurong for another week I supposed. Wait for her to be fully well. If not it will be more disastrous if virus spread around.

2kg down

I just weigh myself, and now at 44kg. 4 more kg to lose and I will be more or less back to original. Back to 38kg a bit not realistic. So if can go back to 40kg good enough.

whitening

I discovered my thighs, legs color is whitier than b4. Maybe lose too much blood, got whitening effect. dun know whether my face whitier or not, but hands and legs seems to be so.

10th day

my bb is 10 days old. Her umbilical cord drop off today. My confinement lady say after that wind tend to get in stomach. Dun know true or not. But I remember my 2nd girl, at 14 days, she din wan to sleep at night and keep waking up for feeds and after that dun wan to sleep. I remember my confinement lady that time got a hard time. And she was a difficult baby until more than 1 year old. My mum had a hard time looking after her. Maybe certain things were not done well during my last confinement. With this current confinement lady, I find things more under control. Maybe because she is more experience in taking care of babies.

My bb feeding time is quite ok. About every 4 hours if let her wake up naturally for feed. If wake her up then every 3 hours plus. But she drink very slow. sometimes 45 minutes also havent finish 70ml.

I think she sleep better being wrapped up, including hands also. For my previous girl, I remember we let her hands come out, maybe thats why she dun sleep well. So certain small details can actually lead to bigger problem if not taken care of.

I think my current confinement lady is really good. Very auto pilot. She even sweep and mop floor, clean toilet every morning. She help prepare milk for my big girl and dress her in school uniform to go school. She entertain my big girl and my big girl likes her.She prepare my breastpump for me and also take careof my bb night feeding. Her cooking taste is ok to me though my hubby feels that it a bit oily. She is humble and polite not those AP kind.

Lucky my cousin recommend her to me, if not I dun think I will be able to find one as good as her.

how much to lose

I have about 6 kg to lose b4 I get back to my normal weight. Think I should be back to original weight quite soon this time.

After confinement, I want to have a hair cut. My hair is like messy grass now and I need to change a new hair style, quite sick of my current one.

Feeling quite bored at home, took my knitting out to do. About 1 year din touched knitting stuff. I thought I have forgotten about my knit and purl. But surprisingly, once I took out my unfinished sweater, I still remember how to continue doing it. Now everyday I sit on my bed to do a little. hopefully by end of year I can finish this sweater for my mum.

I need to go for my knitting class again. Maybe start in August until end of year. Need some guidance from the knitting teacher.

supply not too bad

I'm beginnning to be satisfied with my BM supply. Why? because it is just nice, not too much until I cannot sleep well at night, and not too less until not enough to meet demand. Now on average I can pump out abt 70ml-80ml every 3 to 4 hrs.

Not a very persistent person in Breastfeeding, if have then let bb drink, not enough then top up with formula milk, if really dun have then drink all formula milk. perfectly ok with me. But I have a very good breastpump. Invest 500 over dollars in it. And it is really good. energy saving and very efficient.

weekend coming

Tomolo is saturday. My hubby will be very busy this weekend. Coz my ah san is still with runny nose and cough, so my big girl not going over to Jurong. I scare virus will spread.

Tomolo he will need to send my big girl to yamaha and my confinement lady and MIL to market. Then he needs to entertain my girl for whole of sat and sunday.

And monday the childcare centre is closed. So I will need to send my big girl to my in law house for the whole day. At least she gets to sleep there. I cannot sleep with her as I still got problem bending and still not very mobile yet.

gynae checkup

today went to see gynae to remove stitches. Now feeling a little better, but still pain at the corner of wound. Next week I think I can start to bathe liao. Becoz of the wound, I din touch water for 1 whole week.

My hubby went to ica to make the bb birth cert today. We have decided her name to be 叶怡君 , dialect name will be Yip Yee June. since she is born in June and we do not like the dialect version of "Jun", we let it remain as hanyupinyin "jun" but add an "e" behind and it become "June".

my confinement lady is quite good. Very auto pilot kind. Everything very well done. She even help me with my big girl as my mum is stuck in Jurong to take care of my small girl.

MY small girl 's fever is finally under control. More than 1 week already. I think the earliest we start to send her back to childcare will be next tuesday. The teachers are all so scared of her.

low bm supply

Wanted to breastfeed longer for my 3rd child. But seems like not very realistic. Bm supply very low, though I have a very good breast pump, dun seem to get much out of it.This is the 1st week. Supply only about 50ml per pumping session. And I din latch on bb at all. So that was all I got after every 3-4 hours. And nite time, din really have engorgement, so even if sleep thro' the nite, also ok. But no engorgement means bad news too. Supply really very low.

Wondering if c section is the cause of low supply? I remember for my 1st girl, I have quite alot of excess supply. But for 2nd girl also c section, I din have enough supply. This 3rd one, supply seems to be the lowest. I guess I can close my milk factory quite early for this one. See next week supply got increase or not.

My ah san's fever still up and down. More than 1 week already, dun know whats wrong. I am very worried, but nothing can be done.

san san fever

my small girl had a v high fever last nite. my mum phone me at about 11pm. My hubby just brought back my big girl. Then I ask hubby how....then ask my parents and brother to take san san to thomson medical centre 24 hrs clinic. My hubby meet them directly there. At about 2am, finally fever under control and they went back home.

My big girl was sleeping temporary on my bed, until my hubby came back then carried her back to her sleeping room. These 2 weeks very busy, san san fever already seen doctor 3 times.

My big girl now more understanding. She knows I cannot sleep with her, and is ok with my hubby sleeping with her. She knows my wound hurts, so she din ask me to carry or do things for her. I think 4 years old is the age when kids can understand things. San san still behave like a spoilt brat, cannot negotiate terms, she want something means she wants, cannot dun give her, and she accept no reasoning also.

back at home

Discharged from hospital today. Now battling with my c section wound. Hate the kind of feeling, cannot even walk properly. Dun dare to cough also. I will stop at 3 kids. Cannot stand another round of torture like this. When will my wound heal? fast fast heal please........

My small girl is down with a fever. Since last weds. I have to left her with my mum in Jurong. My hubby will fetch my big girl back. Big girl can go childcare tomolo. My hubby have to sleep with her for this month liao. I cannot look after her.

tomolo is the day

So fast. I'm left with one day b4 delivery. Tonie will bring all the necessary things to Jurong. My 2 monsters going to stay with my mum until Sunday nite. I will most probably be discharged on Sunday morning.

Not the 1st time giving birth, but still feeling excited about tomolo. Need to fast for the operation, so tonite after my dinner, cannot eat anything liao.think I will be very hungry tomolo.

san san runny nose

my san san is having a runny nose again. Cough also. Seems like back to the days when my big girl just go childcare. Every 2 weeks will fall sick.

Last week when she went childcare, she was already not crying, But today cry again.

3 more days to my delivery of 3rd monster. Almost got ready all things. NOw only need to wait and to notify confinement lady when I will be discharged from hospital.

last gynae visit b4 delivery

This morning I went for my gynae check up. Now bb about 2.6-2.7kg. Next week will be week 38. So I will be going for my c section on Thursday.

Took 3 days MC for next week monday to wednesday. My maternity leave will start from 24/6/2010...


Met Sandra for lunch at Bugis Junction. I hope things will be well for her and she will be happy.....

counting down

Today is Wednesday already. Next Thursday, my 3rd monster will be coming out. About 1 week left.

My big girl had a fever over the weekend. And I stayed in Jurong with both monsters from Fri night to Tuesday night. This morning they went to childcare again. My small girl still cried and refused to go school.

Hopefully she had her nap in school. The teachers got problem making her sleep and they are quite scared of her as her voice is very loud. She dun wan to sleep and will scream if they forced her to do so. She is so vocal and like to say back the teachers. She even ask the teachers to go home.haha........They had no way to deal with her

san san go school

this morning my small girl go child care again after resting for 2 days. She din wan to go. She say her uniform belongs to my big girl and not hers. Then downstairs, she say the teachers went home already. My small girl can really talk well. The teachers were amazed at the way she talks and asked me what I ate for my 2nd pregnancy.

Hopefully tomolo she will not cry when go school.

small girl down with fever

my san san is down with fever since yesterday evening. The childcare centre teachers said she is very cranky in school. Maybe becoz she is sick. fed her some fever medicine yesterday evening and she had one round of puking session last nite.

Today, I kept her at home with me. The big one go to childcare.Later on will let her sleep, then she can recover faster. See tonite how, if still fever, then will have to bring her to see PD.

small monster 4th day in sch

today is my small girl 4th day in childcare. She is ok already. didn't cry when go school. She walk inside the centre and seems happy.

I remember my big girl took 6 months to get rid of her crying. Seems like my small girl is bolder and the 2 girls ntirely different personality. MY big girl is more towards the shy side. And my small girl is those kind who can voice out despite facing opposition. seems to have more leadership quality than my big girl.:)

lastest gynae visit

yesterday went for my gynae visit. At about week 35-36, bb is about 2.3 kg already. So if happen to go into labour earlier, I may still try natural. But once bb hits 2.5kg, will have to go c-section. My gynae went overseas for 1 week, hopefully my bb wait for him to come back. Now stomach very big and bb head already down in the right position.. I have put on 10kg so far. Most probably wuill hit 12kg by the time I gave birth.

my small monster school days

Small monster is getting use to school quite fast. On the first day itself. During the playground session, I already can see her smile. She ran round and round the playground and will talk to herself and point to things. Look happy.

2nd day, she stand outside the door of the centre. refused to go in and start to cry. But when the teacher used food to tempt her, she walk in..haha... food always work on my small monster.

Today is the 3rd day already. She walk in without crying. But after a while, dun know what she suddenly thought of, she start to cry. And want me to stay with her.
The teachers say she is good in all things except sleep time. She refused to take nap. She will say she is not tired and talk on other things, just refused to nap.

Think it will take another week for her to get use to the big group sleeping.

1st day of sch

today my small monster go to childcare. 1st day of school. b4 she even step inside the centre. She saw another child sitting by the door crying. think she got scared and refused to step inside. We have to drag her inside. She start to cry and say want to get out. Dun know if she is still crying now.

c section date

Consulted my regular "fengshui" master. My c section date tentatively will be on 24 June. But if baby wants to come out earlier, then its beyond my control.

Finally I have endure until the last day of school. Now looking forward to the more relaxing life. Still have alot of things to prepare for the arrival of bb. alot of things not washed and not bought yet.

My small girl will be going to childcare on 1st June. Don't know how she will react on her 1st day of school.

very sad

One of my very good friend in AI lost her bb girl at week 40.
She had contractions early morning and within 45minutes, she gave birth to her girl in her hubby car. The bb was not crying at birth. And pass away the following day. This happened last tuesday. I only got to know today.

felt so sad. Can't help but keep crying after i hear the news.
Hope she will be strong.

Today the childcare centre phone me and say my big girl having fever.
Fetch her early from school. Temp about 39 degree. let her eat fever medicine.

Her temp drop to 37.2 after medicine. will moniter and see how tonite.
Tomolo will let her stay with my in laws. I dun think the childcare centre will accept her back. Need to go to work tomolo. My sec 5N class is going to take O level chinese end of the month. Left with only about 5 days for intensive mother tongue class.

updates

I have put on 2kg in just 2 weeks.
Now at week 33, bb is about 2kg.
Seems like going to be quite a big bb.

I have grown so fat until I have difficulty in walking. Need to walk real slow.

hubby off to dubai for work

today hubby went dubai for work. Coming back next thursday.
Next Thursday is also my rountine gynae checkup.
2 more weeks to endure b4 sch ends.
getting more and more tired.

My small girl will be celebrating 2nd bday tomolo.
My girls love to eat cake. They should be quite happy tomolo.

MY big girl now always say broken chinese sentences. The order of words in disorder.
One of the sentence she says "我香到有味道.........." (when she want to say something smells nice)

yellow color

my big girl favourite color is yellow. everything she wants to be in yellow color.
As for my small girl, she still dun know how to choose colors, so dun really know what she likes.

next week

next week, will be the detail scan of bb. Hope all will be fine.
coming 22 weeks already.

I missed my previous sch. At least things are very systematic over there. And more welfare. My current sch reminds me a little of JWSS, which I really dun like the culture.
